Paris Saint-Germain are expected to rotate heavily for their Ligue 1 clash against Toulouse, with coach Luis Enrique preparing a revamped lineup following the international break and upcoming Champions League commitments.
With several players returning late from international duty, Luis Enrique admitted he is managing selection like a puzzle, describing it as a game of “Tetris” as he tries to balance fitness, rotation, and upcoming European fixtures.
The PSG coach is also dealing with squad fatigue and limited preparation time, with only one full training session before the match at the Parc des Princes.
In defence, changes are expected with regular starters potentially rested. Captain Marquinhos could be rotated, while Lucas Beraldo is set to feature alongside Illia Zabarnyi in central defence. Achraf Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez are expected to start in the full-back roles, with Matvey Safonov likely in goal
In midfield, Warren Zaire-Emery is expected to anchor the midfield, supported by Joao Neves. The biggest surprise could be the inclusion of young midfielder Dro Fernandez, who is tipped to start after impressing earlier in the season, while Vitinha is expected to be rested.
In attack, Ousmane Dembele is in line to start after limited minutes with France, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is expected to feature on the left. Kang-in Lee could also be deployed to give Desire Doue a rest.
