Inter have officially announced the signing of John Stones on a two-year contract following the expiration of his deal with Manchester City.
The 32-year-old defender brings an end to a highly successful ten-year spell at the Etihad Stadium, where he established himself as one of the Premier League's top centre-backs. Stones has signed with the Serie A champions until June 2028.
The England international recently represented the Three Lions at the FIFA World Cup, starting three matches as England finished in third place. He now heads to Italy after another impressive international campaign, having played a key role in England's run to the latter stages of the tournament.
Upon arriving in Milan, Stones shared a short message with Inter supporters, saying: "I'm excited to be here. Appreciate you guys. I'm sure I'll see you all soon. Thank you so much. Ciao."
With 94 international appearances for England, Stones adds vast experience and leadership to Inter's defensive line as the Nerazzurri strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
