Real Madrid were reportedly targeting a player previously linked with Barcelona, but their move for Julián Álvarez has been turned down by Atlético de Madrid.
In an official statement, Real Madrid announced that, following a Board of Directors meeting held today, it has submitted an offer of €150 million to Club Atlético de Madrid for the federative rights of Julián Álvarez.
After reviewing the proposal, Atlético de Madrid expressed gratitude for the offer, noting it was made within the framework of good relations between the two clubs, but ultimately rejected it, referring to the player’s release clause as the decisive factor.
