After Julian Nagelsmann’s departure from the Germany national team, Jurgen Klopp emerged as the leading candidate to replace him, and a final agreement has now been reached for him to take charge of Die Mannschaft.
Former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp, who is currently working as a football pundit for Magenta TV during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, is set to become the new head coach of the Germany national team.
Klopp, who had previously expressed his desire to return to coaching by taking charge of Die Mannschaft, has reportedly reached a full agreement with officials from the German Football Association.
An official announcement is expected in the coming days, with Klopp set to return to management after a two-year absence.
Following his departure from Liverpool, Klopp has been serving as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull. His contract with the company is expected to be terminated ahead of his appointment as Germany's new head coach.
