Gerard Pique has become the central figure in one of the most controversial post-match incidents of the season, following serious allegations recorded in the referee's report after FC Andorra's defeat to Albacete Balompie.
What began as frustration over refereeing decisions reportedly escalated into a tense confrontation involving the former Barcelona defender, both inside the stadium and later in the parking area under police supervision.
According to referee Alonso de Ena Wolf, Pique was already highly vocal during and after the match, with repeated protests over decisions that led to multiple expulsions for Andorra players.
The report states that Pique approached officials "a voz en grito" (shouting loudly), in what was described as a "threatening attitude", and came "at very close range to the referee's face" inside the tunnel area after the match.
This tunnel confrontation is presented as the first escalation point in what later became a far more serious post-match situation.
The annex added to the official acta claims that Pique continued confronting officials alongside other members of the club's hierarchy while security forces were present.
Among the statements attributed to him is:
"Salid escoltados, no os vayan a agredir"
("Leave escorted so you don't get attacked.")
The report suggests that rather than de-escalating tensions, the situation continued to intensify as the officials moved towards their vehicle.
Other alleged remarks and environment
The referee's report also places Pique in the centre of further verbal exchanges during this phase of the incident.
He is also quoted as saying:
"En otro pais os reventarian, pero aqui en Andorra somos un pais civilizado"
("In another country you would be smashed, but here in Andorra we are a civilised country.")

These comments are included alongside claims of sustained verbal confrontation during the final stages of the officials' departure from the stadium.
Gerard Pique has since responded publicly, rejecting the interpretation of events and criticising the referee's handling of the match and subsequent reporting.
However, the allegations recorded in both the match report and its annex place him at the centre of a disciplinary case that now extends beyond sporting complaints into claims of intimidation during and after the match.
FC Andorra later issued an official statement rejecting parts of the referee’s report involving Gerard Pique and other club officials.
The club claims that several quotes attributed to its representatives do not reflect what was actually said during conversations with match officials. It insists that the written report does not accurately represent the events and has demanded that it be corrected “word for word”.
Andorra also stated that it reserves the right to take legal action to defend the reputation of the club and its members if the report is not amended.
The case involving FC Andorra is now expected to be reviewed by disciplinary authorities, with Pique's reported involvement likely to be one of the key focal points.
Depending on the final interpretation of the referee's report, the consequences could extend beyond fines or sporting sanctions, given the severity of the alleged post-match conduct.
