Gerry Cardinale, the founder of RedBird Capital Partners and owner of AC Milan, has reportedly made preliminary indirect contacts regarding a possible acquisition of Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s current team.
According to the report, the contacts are still at an early and preliminary stage. There is currently no completed agreement or formal takeover, but discussions have reportedly taken place regarding the possibility of Cardinale and his investment group becoming involved with Al-Nassr.
The potential move is particularly significant because of Cristiano Ronaldo’s position at the club.
