Fulham have confirmed the signing of Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid, with both players putting pen to paper on long-term contracts until 2031.
The duo will reunite with former Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa, who took charge of Fulham this summer after leaving the Spanish giants at the end of last season.
Garcia, 22, arrives after making 51 senior appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 13 goals across all competitions. During his time at the club, he lifted both the UEFA Champions League and LaLiga titles in 2024. While neither club disclosed the transfer fee, reports in England suggest Fulham paid around £34 million for the Spanish forward.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old midfielder Cesar Palacios has also signed a five-year deal, with Fulham holding the option to extend his contract by an additional year. Palacios made seven first-team appearances for Real Madrid, debuting in the Copa del Rey against Albacete and also featuring in the UEFA Champions League. Media reports value the transfer at approximately £8.5 million.
The signings represent Fulham's continued investment in young talent, with both players expected to play key roles under Arbeloa as the club prepares for the new Premier League season.
