Chelsea are reportedly preparing a €70 million offer for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabián Ruiz, with the London club considering a move for the Spanish international in January.
According to Le Parisien, Chelsea are planning to make a €70 million bid to PSG for the 30-year-old midfielder during the January transfer window.
Ruiz has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United. However, Chelsea are currently considered the most serious contender for his signature.
Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso is also reportedly keen on bringing Ruiz to Stamford Bridge and is said to personally want the midfielder in his squad.
Ruiz has made seven appearances for PSG across all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
