Napoli confirmed Antonio Conte’s exit with a heartfelt message on social media on Monday: ‘Thanks for everything, coach!’
Conte has left Napoli after two seasons in which the Italian tactician secured a Serie A title and a Supercoppa Italiana.
Italian media had been extensively reporting on Conte’s departure even before Sunday’s last game against Udinese.
After yesterday’s match, Conte confirmed his departure in a press conference with club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Napoli sent a social media message to Conte on Monday morning, posting on both the Italian and English official X accounts.
“Thanks for everything, coach,” wrote the Partenopei, sharing a picture of a smiling Conte with the 2024-25 Serie A winners’ medal around his neck.
Conte joked that if he didn’t find a new team this summer, he might join De Laurentiis in Los Angeles to watch the World Cup.
