Xavi Hernández has been appointed the new head coach of the Netherlands, with the Dutch Football Federation officially announcing the agreement.
The former Barcelona manager has accepted the federation’s proposal, with the deal finalised and the documents signed today. The agreement marks a new chapter in Xavi’s coaching career as he moves from club football to the international stage.
Xavi previously managed Barcelona after a distinguished playing career at the club. He will now take charge of a Netherlands side featuring players from some of Europe’s leading clubs, with the aim of returning the national team to the top level of international football.
