West Ham United have parted ways with Head Coach Nuno Espírito Santo with immediate effect.
Following a review of the team’s performances and results at the start of the EFL Championship season, the club’s board has decided that a change in leadership is necessary to keep the club’s ambitions and objectives on track.
Assistant Head Coach Rui Pedro Silva and Goalkeeper Coach Rui Barbosa have also left the club.
West Ham have thanked all three members of the coaching staff for their work and commitment, while confirming that the search for a new Head Coach is already underway.
In the meantime, Mark Noble, Steve Potts and Gerard Prenderville will take temporary charge of first-team preparations ahead of tomorrow evening’s Championship clash against Cardiff City.
The club will make no further comment until a new Head Coach has been appointed.
