Valencia have sacked head coach Carlos Corberan and football chief executive Ron Gourlay following a winless start to the La Liga season.
The Spanish club are currently bottom of the table, having taken just one point from their first five matches.
Corberan, 43, was appointed by Valencia in December 2024 after leaving Championship side West Bromwich Albion. He guided the club to 12th place in his first season in charge after taking over when Valencia were second-bottom of La Liga.
However, a poor start to the new campaign has now brought his tenure to an end. Valencia suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Barcelona last week, adding further pressure on the club's management.
Valencia B coach Oscar Sanchez will take charge of the first team on an interim basis. Corberan's coaching staff will also leave the club.
In a statement, Valencia said the decision was part of a plan to restructure the club's sporting operations.
"This decision reflects the club's intention to begin a new phase for the running of the sporting structure and football operations."
The club added that it would "shortly" announce a new structure for its football operations and details of its upcoming sporting project.
Gourlay, the former Chelsea chief executive who also worked at West Bromwich Albion, joined Valencia in December 2024 alongside Corberan.
Members of his team, including Lisandro Isei, Hans Gillhaus, Andres Zamora and Malek Shafei, will also leave the club.
Corberan's departure means Valencia will appoint their 18th permanent head coach since 2012.
The club's next fixture comes on Tuesday when they face Deportivo Alaves.
