Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar of Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, suffered an injury that kept him sidelined for around a month.
The injury, which affected one of the greatest footballers in history, caused him to miss the March international break. As a result, he was not called up to the Portugal national team for matches against Mexico and United States, both World Cup host nations.
Ronaldo had traveled to Madrid to receive treatment from his personal specialist doctor. However, he returned to Saudi Arabia aboard his private jet earlier than expected to rejoin Al-Nassr’s training sessions.
His return comes amid heightened regional tensions in the Middle East, making the timing somewhat surprising.
Al-Nassr currently sits at the top of the Saudi Pro League table, and Ronaldo is now closer than ever to achieving one of his key goals: winning the domestic league title with the club.
