Newcastle United have officially appointed Matthias Jaissle as their new head coach.
The 38-year-old German manager joins the Premier League club after successful spells with Red Bull Salzburg and Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. Regarded as one of Europe's brightest young coaches, Jaissle now takes charge at St James' Park as Newcastle begin a new chapter under his leadership.
