The arrival of Lionel Messi at UE Cornellà (Tercera RFEF) has brought with it a major sponsorship deal for the Catalan club, which has reached a two-season agreement with neobank MyInvestor. The deal aims to take advantage of the club’s increased visibility following the recent arrival of the former Barcelona star as an owner, about a month ago.
The agreement includes the presence of the financial brand on the team’s kit, advertising visibility at the stadium, and various communication and financial education initiatives linked to the club’s community, according to Expansión. For MyInvestor, backed by Andbank, AXA España, and El Corte Inglés Seguros, the deal is part of its strategy to position its brand through sport and reach younger, digital audiences.
The financial institution, which describes itself as Spain’s largest fintech by business volume, continues to strengthen its commercial presence in sectors with high visibility and emotional connection, such as sport. UE Cornellà, for its part, is entering a new phase focused on enhancing its institutional and sporting projection while maintaining its traditional emphasis on youth academy football and talent development.
