Manchester United scouts watched Rafael Leao as AC Milan took on Juventus last night, according to reports.
The Portuguese star was in action as his side drew 0-0 with the Old Lady.
Leao, 26, has two years remaining on his AC Milan contract.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the winger is not considered “untouchable” by club chiefs heading into the summer transfer window.
They add that Man Utd scouts were in attendance to run the rule over Leao during last night’s match.
A bid of around £52million could tempt Milan into selling their star attacker.
United spent around £200m on bolstering their attack last summer; bringing in the likes of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
But they could look to strengthen that area of the pitch again in going for Leao.
The Milan star has scored nine goals in 26 Serie A appearances this term, also laying on three assists.
Last night’s draw saw Massimiliano Allegri‘s side stay third in the table.
Reports in Italy claim that Barcelona have also enquired about the Portugal international’s availability.
Leao has also been linked with a host of Saudi Pro League clubs.
Man Utd return to action this evening as they host Brentford at Old Trafford.
Michael Carrick‘s side could virtually secure Champions League qualification with a win against the Bees.
Three points would see United climb 11 points above sixth-place Brighton with just four matches remaining.
