Manchester City have reportedly reached an agreement with Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah over the transfer of Tijjani Reijnders for €61 million, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 28-year-old midfielder is now edging closer to leaving City, with the deal understood to have been agreed between the two clubs.
Reijnders did not take part in Thursday’s open training session, despite being present with the squad at the club’s academy stadium.
His absence is believed to be transfer-related as City prepare to face Arsenal in the Community Shield.
Reijnders joined Manchester City from AC Milan and could now be set to continue his career in the Saudi Pro League.
City are expected to consider bringing in a replacement in midfield, with Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández among the players linked with a move to the Etihad.
