The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has reached an agreement to appoint AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini as the new technical director of the Italy national team.
Maldini will lead a new sporting project under the presidency of Giovanni Malagò, with all parties having finalized the agreement.
In addition, former AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain executive Leonardo has been appointed as senior advisor to the Italy national team. He will work closely alongside Maldini, serving as his right-hand man as the federation begins a new era aimed at rebuilding and strengthening Italian football.
