According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Robert Lewandowski’s move to Chicago Fire is now considered a done deal, with all agreements finalized between the player and the club.
Romano reports that the deal has reached its final stage, with contracts approved and only formal procedures such as medical checks and paperwork remaining before official announcement. The striker is expected to sign a two-year contract with the MLS side.
The Polish forward will leave European football and continue his career in the United States, joining Chicago Fire as part of their major long-term project.
An official club announcement is expected soon, but according to Romano’s update, the transfer is now fully completed behind the scenes.
