After days of leaks and speculation, the wait is finally over: new Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp has announced his first squad lists.
The two lists feature 44 nominations in total, although some players appear on both lists. The selections include several new faces as well as returning players whom Klopp wants to take a closer look at.
The squad selection comes ahead of an extended international break, with Germany set to play four Nations League matches.
It all begins on 24 September against the Netherlands, followed by matches against Greece on 27 September and Serbia on 1 October. Germany will then face Greece again on 4 October in the return fixture.
This marks Klopp’s first squad selection as Germany head coach.
