Karim Benzema is reportedly preparing to leave Al-Hilal after just a few months with the Saudi club. According to AS, the 38-year-old French striker has already received several offers and is determined to continue his professional career rather than retire.
Benzema has yet to decide on his next destination, with a return to Al-Ittihad and a potential move to Al-Shabab among the options previously linked with the veteran forward. Benzema already spent time at Al-Ittihad before making the move to Al-Hilal.
Since joining Al-Hilal in 2026, Benzema has made 16 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.
However, his future at the club has become uncertain following Al-Hilal's expected signing of Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli. The arrival of the Brazilian is likely to have a significant impact on the squad and could ultimately accelerate Benzema's departure.
Benzema's move to Al-Hilal had previously generated considerable controversy in Saudi Arabia. Reports claimed that the transfer even frustrated Cristiano Ronaldo, who believed Al-Hilal had benefited from the existing rules governing the Saudi transfer market.
