Fulham have announced the departure of head coach Marco Silva.
The Portuguese tactician was out of contract at Craven Cottage and it has now been confirmed that he will not sign an extension.
It sees Silva depart after a successful five-year tenure, setting some very impressive statistics during his time in charge.
It is also set to trigger a domino effect that will likely see José Mourinho end up returning to Real Madrid.
Multiple reports in Portugal and Spain state that Silva is set to take over as the new head coach of Benfica.
That will pave the way for Mourinho to depart and return to the Bernabéu hotseat.
