Ferran Torres is continuing his tour of the United States while speaking openly about his future, sending a clear message to FC Barcelona. In an interview with Sportico, the Valencia-born forward said that any talks over a contract extension will depend on whether Barcelona show they truly want to keep him.
"Barcelona have to show that they want me. They can come and negotiate, and in the end, everything can be discussed," Ferran said.
The Spanish forward also addressed interest from several top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, admitting that such speculation is always flattering.
"Whenever clubs like these want you, it's a good thing," he said.
Despite the rumors, Ferran made it clear that Barcelona remains his top priority. He also pointed out that his current contract allows him to approach his future without any pressure.
"I have a contract with Barcelona. It's true that in football you never know what might happen, but the good thing is that, because I'm under contract, I can take my time and make the decision that's best for me," he concluded.
