Reports claimed that the ceremony would take place at Funchal Cathedral, with the wedding celebration set to be held at the five-star Savoy Palace. However, neither Ronaldo nor Georgina was seen at either location, and the ceremony held at Funchal Cathedral was reportedly for another couple.
It has now emerged that Ronaldo and Georgina instead tied the knot in a private and intimate ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, attended by their five children. The couple appear to have deliberately kept the occasion away from the media spotlight, choosing a more private setting for their special day.
