Philadelphia Stadium hosted Brazil's second match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as the Seleção faced Haiti in a Group C encounter. The South Americans had little difficulty securing all three points, claiming a convincing 3-0 victory.
The first half belonged to Matheus Cunha, who delivered a standout performance. The Manchester United forward opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, reacting quickest to convert the rebound after Vinícius Júnior's initial effort was saved. Cunha doubled both his tally and Brazil's advantage in the 36th minute with a stunning strike into the top corner.
Brazil added a third goal deep into first-half stoppage time when Vinícius Júnior calmly finished Lucas Paquetá's pass to put the match beyond Haiti's reach.

The only negative moment for Brazil before the break was the injury to Raphinha. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti was forced to substitute the winger in the 40th minute.
Haiti showed greater defensive organization in the second half, while Brazil appeared less aggressive in attack after establishing a comfortable lead. Endrick thought he had added a fourth goal in the 78th minute, but his effort was ruled out for offside.
The victory moves Brazil onto four points in Group C and leaves them in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stage. The Seleção will conclude their group campaign against Scotland in their final match.
