Bernardo Silva has offered an update on his future and says that Barcelona is an option for next season.
The Portugal international is looking for a new club after moving on from the Premier League side but says he has not made a final decision on his next move.
“Barcelona is an option I have, but I haven’t made a decision yet,” he said after playing for Portugal against Chile on Saturday night.
“In the end, I’m going to try to find a team where they want me, where I feel truly wanted. That’s very important, and you’ll know the day I make my decision.”
Bernardo’s agent Jorge Mendes has spoken about the situation this week and claimed the midfielder will make a decision after World Cup 2026.
Pep Guardiola has also been asked about speculation linking Bernardo with Barcelona and said: “Bernardo would adapt to any team. He’s just too good.”
