Barcelona have reportedly made Inter striker Lautaro Martínez their top priority for the final days of the transfer window.
According to Gerard Romero of Jijantes, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick wants the Argentine forward, with the club prepared to do everything possible to complete the deal before the transfer window closes.
“It will be a very difficult deal to pull off, but Lautaro is Barça’s number-one priority, and the club will do everything possible in the final days of the transfer window,” Romero said during a Jijantes FC livestream.
The most significant development is the claim that Lautaro Martínez has opened the door to a potential move to Barcelona. The striker is reportedly open to the possibility of joining the Catalan club.
However, a deal remains difficult. Inter are reluctant to sell their captain, and there is currently no agreement between the two clubs.
Barcelona’s interest in Lautaro comes after their pursuit of Julián Álvarez reportedly stalled, prompting the Catalan club to turn their attention to the Inter forward as their preferred option for the No. 9 position.
