Atlético Madrid have announced the signing of Argentina international Cristian Gabriel “Cuti” Romero from Tottenham Hotspur.
The two clubs have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 28-year-old centre-back, who has signed a contract with Atlético until June 30, 2031.
Romero, who recently featured in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, is known for his physicality, anticipation, strong tackling and leadership on the pitch.
