“Yesterday was my last match, and I already miss wearing the Argentina shirt. I know I’m making the right decision. It was an incredible journey, filled with so many happy moments and, of course, some sadness as well. But I have no doubt that every step I took along the way was worth it.
“There are still so many things I wanted to say. It’s impossible to put everything I feel into just a few words or a single post. None of this journey would have been possible without my family, who were always by my side and supported me, especially during the difficult moments when I needed them the most. 🙏
“My friends were also essential, as were all the teammates and coaches I had throughout the years, along with their coaching staffs.
“I don’t want to forget Diego, who put our country where it deserved to be. As I always say, I know he helped us by being there with us, and also from heaven, every step of the way.
