FIFA has officially unveiled the artists set to headline the opening ceremonies for the 2026 World Cup across the United States, Mexico and Canada, with global stars including Katy Perry, Lisa, J Balvin, Future and Tyla leading a multi-country celebration ahead of the tournament kickoff next June.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19 across 16 host cities in North America, marking the first edition of the tournament to be jointly hosted by three countries.
In the United States, celebrations will begin on June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, ahead of the US national team’s opening match against Paraguay. FIFA confirmed that Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Lisa, Rema and Tyla will headline the event.

Meanwhile, Mexico and Canada will each host separate opening ceremonies on June 11 — the first time FIFA has staged multiple opening ceremonies across different countries for a single World Cup.
Toronto’s BMO Field will feature performances from Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, Michael Bublé and others ahead of Canada’s opener against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In Mexico City, artists including J Balvin, Maná, Alejandro Fernández and Belinda will perform at the iconic Azteca Stadium before Mexico faces South Africa in the tournament opener.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the Los Angeles ceremony as a reflection of the tournament’s “extraordinary scale” and praised the line-up for showcasing the cultural diversity and musical influence of the United States.
