David Beckham was joined by his family and close friends as he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
The former soccer star attended the ceremony alongside his wife, Victoria Beckham, and three of their children — Romeo, Cruz, and Harper — marking a memorable family moment. The event also drew several celebrities, including Tom Cruise, who attended to show their support.
Beckham was honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony on Friday, June 12.

Radio host Ellen K introduced the speakers, which included Beckham, his wife Victoria Beckham and actor Tom Cruise, who recalled some of Beckham's most iconic sports moments and spoke about the athlete's legacy at the start of the ceremony.
Victoria, 52, then took the mic, beginning with a joke about her iconic film, "Spice World," and her own star on the Walk of Fame.
"He believed that if he worked hard and dreamed big enough, anything was possible," she said of her husband, complimenting his "kindness, loyalty and commitment to the people he loves."

In Beckham's speech a few moments later, the famed athlete said he's "always been a dreamer, but I never could have imagined that an honor like this would come to a working class English soccer player like me." The Inter Miami co-owner mentioned his favorite Hollywood films and TV shows — from Knight Rider and The A-Team to Cruise's Jerry Maguire, which Beckham said was his and Victoria's first movie date.
As Beckham went on to thank the people who brought him to Los Angeles to play for the L.A. Galaxy in 2007, and those who made his Walk of Fame star possible, he added that "most of all, I want to thank my incredible family."
"My parents and my sisters, who always supported my dreams. Victoria, my amazing wife for almost 30 years. Without whom, none of this would be possible or as enjoyable. And my beautiful children, who are the reason that I get out of the bed in the morning," he began.
"Kids — I'm going to get emotional now — I hope you bring my grandchildren here one day and tell them about a boy who dreamed big," Beckham said. "To make you all proud is my greatest achievement. I'm so grateful for you all, thank you, and thank you so much for this honor, L.A., it means so much."

Beckham was supported by his wife and their sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper. The couple's eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, did not attend the ceremony amid the family's ongoing rift.
The British athlete wore a navy blue suit to the ceremony, while his wife looked chic in a long gray dress.
