CF Montréal have signed Chilean superstar Alexis Sánchez as a Designated Player through the 2027 MLS season, with a club option for 2027-28.
The 37-year-old forward arrives after a career with Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Marseille and Sevilla. He spent the 2025-26 season at Sevilla, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 30 appearances.
A two-time Copa América champion, Sánchez is Chile’s all-time leading scorer (51 goals) and appearance holder (168 caps). He has also won major trophies in Spain, England and Italy, including La Liga, FA Cups and Serie A titles.
CF Montréal expect the veteran forward to bring experience, leadership and an immediate impact both on and off the pitch.
