In a dramatic twist to the Premier League title race, Manchester City were held to a 1–1 draw away to AFC Bournemouth on Matchweek 37.
Bournemouth delivered a disciplined and composed performance, frustrating City for large parts of the match and taking the lead in the 39th minute through Kroupi, whose strike put the hosts in control.
It looked as though Bournemouth would hold on for a famous victory, but deep into stoppage time, Erling Haaland struck in the 90+5th minute to rescue Manchester City with a dramatic equaliser.
The match ended 1–1 after a late turnaround.
The result leaves Manchester City on 78 points, meaning the title race remains mathematically open. Arsenal’s position at the top is still intact, but the championship is not yet officially sealed, with tension now carrying into the final stretch of the season.
